Okay, it’s a little update (I’m feeling a tad lazy), and it’s also baby related. So, that’s a double meaning. I guess.
It’s been a hectic couple of days. We had a routine doctor visit yesterday. We got to hear the wee baby’s heartbeat for the first time. Truly an exciting occasion.
Then, we had a bit of a panic about.. something. You probably don’t want to know the details. So, we went to our friendly (I use the word sarcastically, try phoning one some time to find out why) neighbourhood Medicenter, where we waited for an hour to be told to phone a real doctor in the morning to have it looked into.
So, we phoned the real doctor in the morning, where we waited half the time to be told, after less than five minutes of actually checking it out that there is probably nothing to worry about. Hurray for nitrazine!
We’ve hammered away at the endless list of potential names. The reviewers (Kim and I) had over 100 names to plow through (a hint for the ladies – if your man is indecisive and impulsive, don’t let him near the baby name book; you’ll wind up with dozens of names that he can’t narrow down) and have got it down to five. How’s that for impressive?
